Upon unboxing the S65C GG, I was greeted with a pleasant and rich wood aroma from the sound hole. The purpleheart fretboard/rosette/bridge and maple neck/headstock provides a very cool and unique look. The guitar feels light weight, and the thin open pore finish allows the body to resonate with remarkably good tonal balance between the bass and treble strings. It is very comfortable to play.
As a practice guitar, it's a keeper!
