Juan Hernandez Concierto Classical Guitar – 630mm Cedar/Indian Rosewood (2026)
Concert-Level Spanish Tone in a Comfortable Shorter Scale
The 2026 Juan Hernandez Concierto Classical Guitar brings refined concert-level sound and authentic Spanish craftsmanship to a comfortable 630mm scale length. Handmade in Valencia, Spain, this exceptional instrument pairs a responsive solid cedar top with rich, resonant solid Indian rosewood back and sides for a warm, powerful voice with excellent clarity, sustain, and tonal depth.
The solid cedar soundboard responds quickly to a light touch, producing a mature, expressive tone from the very first note. Its warmth and harmonic richness make it especially rewarding for lyrical melodies, legato passages, chordal textures, and expressive solo performance. The solid Indian rosewood body adds strong bass response, singing trebles, impressive projection, and the complexity serious classical guitarists expect from a finely made instrument.
At 630mm, the shorter scale reduces the distance between frets and slightly lowers overall string tension compared with a standard 650mm classical guitar. This can make stretches, position changes, barre chords, and extended practice sessions more comfortable without sacrificing the depth and authority of a concert-quality Spanish guitar.
Handmade with traditional techniques and careful attention to detail, the Juan Hernandez Concierto is designed for advanced students, experienced performers, recording musicians, and dedicated players seeking a more accommodating instrument with a sophisticated, expressive voice.
Why You’ll Love This Guitar
You will appreciate the Juan Hernandez Concierto 630mm if you want the richness and projection of an all-solid concert classical guitar in a more comfortable scale length. Its cedar and Indian rosewood combination delivers warmth, sustain, color, and responsiveness, while the shorter scale makes demanding passages easier to reach and more enjoyable to play. It is an inspiring choice for musicians who do not want to choose between comfort and professional-quality tone.
