Ibanez GA3007CE Cutaway Classical 7-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar – Natural
Expand Your Classical Guitar Range
The Ibanez GA3007CE 7-String Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar brings extended-range versatility to the warmth, responsiveness, and expressive character of a nylon-string guitar. Featuring a solid German spruce top, African mahogany back and sides, a comfortable cutaway body, and professional Fishman electronics, the GA3007CE is an exciting choice for classical guitarists looking to explore a deeper tonal range.
The seventh string is factory tuned to a low B, extending the guitar below the traditional six-string range and opening new possibilities for bass lines, chord voicings, solo arrangements, Brazilian-style 7-string playing, contemporary classical music, jazz, and creative fingerstyle performance.
Its solid German spruce top delivers excellent clarity, sensitivity, and articulation, while the African mahogany back and sides contribute warmth and a full-bodied midrange. Together, they give the GA3007CE a balanced acoustic voice that works especially well across its expanded seven-string range.
Extended Range with Classical Playability
Ibanez equips the GA3007CE with an Okoume neck and rosewood fingerboard, along with a traditional flat fingerboard radius. The 650mm (25.6") scale length maintains a familiar classical feel, while the generous 59mm nut width provides appropriate spacing for seven nylon strings.
A cutaway body and extended 20-fret fingerboard provide additional upper-register access, making the GA3007CE particularly appealing to players who want to move beyond traditional classical repertoire.
The guitar also features a real bone nut and bone saddle, a rosewood bridge, and gold classical tuning machines with a 14:1 gear ratio.
Fishman Electronics for Stage and Studio
When it's time to plug in, the GA3007CE is ready.
A Fishman S-Core pickup captures the guitar's acoustic voice, while the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp provides convenient Volume, Bass, and Treble controls along with an onboard tuner.
Even better, Ibanez provides both a standard 1/4" output and balanced XLR output, giving performing musicians added flexibility when connecting to an acoustic amplifier, PA system, mixer, or recording equipment.
