About the Concert: Pulling Strings!
Pulling Strings! is a special concert presented by the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra that brings together the richness of a full symphony orchestra with the expressive voice of classical guitar. Designed to be engaging and accessible, the program highlights collaboration, live performance, and continued support for the arts in our community.

The concert features acclaimed classical guitarist Marc Garvin, joined by special guest John Calderon, performing solos and duets accompanied by the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra. The program moves comfortably between classical repertoire and modern favorites, creating an afternoon of music that appeals to longtime symphony audiences and first-time concertgoers alike.

An accompanying online auction, including a donated classical guitar from Calido Guitars, will benefit the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra and support its ongoing programming.

FREE Master Classes at The Clarion
Held at The Clarion at Brazosport College, these master classes are open to guitarists of all levels and are completely free to attend with advanced registration. Participants are encouraged to bring their acoustic or electric guitar (with a speaker if needed).
