The requinto is a six nylon string guitar which is tuned one fourth higher than the standard classical guitar. Requintos are tuned: A2-D3-G3-C4-E4-A4

The Esteve 6.ELEC is a six string Requinto or Alto classical guitar used primarily in Mariachi Bands or Classical Guitar orchestras and ensembles. This small body guitar has a 535mm scale length and is normally tuned a fifth higher than the standard Classical guitar.

The 6.ELEC is exactly the same as the 6.CUT but with Fishman electronics - a cutaway Requinto allowing easy access to the higher frets. This guitar is all solid wood, Cedar or European Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back/sides, Ebony fretboard, Cedar neck with Ebony insert.
